Just a brief note today! First Blog entry, exciting and I will try to write in here weekly and not abandon it like my other two discarded blogs! After ten years in the restaurant industry I was burned out physically mentally and literally! Scar mania! Being vegetarian and cooking meat wasn’t working anymore so I quit. Now, I’m not cooking professionally anymore and lo and behold I can’t tear myself away from my Gourmet and Saveur collection and am reinspired! Hopefully this blog will follow my triumphant return to the gustatory world! Woo Hoo! Today, Big Salad, a la Seinfeld:
Soy bean sprouts
broccoli (raw, julienned)
balsamic/olive oil (lame but easy)
sirracha (cock brand natch) hot sauce
Chop and toss!
Delightful! Had a veg burger with nose tingling dijon and a soft bun! My significant other/guinea pig approved. Well, this is just to get my feet wet! Pics and more excitement coming.
